Is Prozac Advisable Before Withdrawal From Effexor?
Hi, I am currently taking 37.5 mg of Effexor for the past 8 years or so. I m trying to get off the Effexor so my doctor prescribed taking 20mg of Prozac with the 37.5mg of Effexor for the next 3 weeks then stop the Effexor completely. I ve been reading and haven t heard of anyone doing this. He says he s done this many times and has been a psychologist for many years. What is your opinion of his method? Thank You!

should have given your problem in detail it appears you are having psychological problem, it is not possible to change the medicine without advise of treating doctor. on consultation he has changed the combination. you should have faith in him and try to adjust with medicine. for any problem you have to consult doctor.
