Is Pur-bloka 10mg The Right Medicine For High Blood Pressure And Rapid Heart Rate?

Good morning Dr. My blood pressure was very high at 1h00 clock this morning. I couldn t sleep it feels like my hart was jumping. I use pearinda blood pressure pills 4 mg. I do not sleep well at night. I did go for an angiogram there are nothing major wrong with my hart that is what the cardiologist said. I do not feel well at all. can I use pur-bloka 10mg

Both Pur-blocka (Propranolol) and Pearinda(Perindopril) reduces blood pressure. However, they belong to different class of medications. Their side effect profile and mechanism of action are different from each other,
You should not switch from Pearinda to Pur-blocka or take the two medications together without consulting your doctor first.
Please follow up with your treating physician if you are concerned about high blood pressure to see if you need increased dose of medication/ switch to another medication.
