Is QVar Advisable For Occasional Deep Cough?
I was prescribed QVar 80 by my ENT Dr.....I complained about an occasional deep cough.... I was given a sample..... the elaborate info re this med. states that it is used for prevention and control of Asthma , which I do NOT have. As it is a steroid, I have hesitate to inhale it. Your opinion, please. Thank U!

inhalational steroid have very less side effect and do you get breathless when you cough?asthma may be sometimes not manifest routinely but exercise may induce it
BUT there are many other respiratory disease which are treated by steroids
if u only have cough you should not take it but if u are having breathing difficulties too inparoxysms you should take it but never stop in between
