General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello
I have gone through your question and understand your concern. Presences of pus cells (60 to 62 hpf) and burning sensation on passing urine is suggestive of urinary tract infection. Antibiotics after taking culture and sensitivity of urine will help treat the current infection. Apart from antibiotics drink ample of water and adding urinary citrates (available over the counter) will be beneficial.
If urinary tract infection is recurrent and the family history of kidney failure is present my advice is to see a specialist and get tested for possible auto-immune diseases.
Hope your concern is answered. Thank you.
