I take 4 different tablets to control my angina. On Friday I had a severe and prolonged angina attack. The hospital consultant has prescribed Ranolazine. I am concerned about the side effects so I have not started taking them yet. What advice can you give me on how they will effect me?
Hi Thanks for asking question it will help others as well . Ranolazine is used to treat angina pain the common side effects are same as common with other drugs such as dizziness, Constipation, Nausea, headache etc. However to be more safe ensure your good kidney function. These side effects may be reduce if taken with/without food try in both ways, Do not break crush tablet. Take some kind of juice etc. Do not club the missed dose. Do not take alcohol with of just after medicine
