In case if you have a problem of recurrent apthous ulcers the first thing that you should do is to consult an oral physician and get evaluated for the exact cause of the ulcers and in general the most common cause of apthous ulcers is Nutritional deficiency like Vitamin B12,Iron and folic acid while there can be many other causes.. Many a times treatment of the underlying cause can treat the problem.. In recurrent and persistent cases where the ulcers does not respond to other treatment a Steroid therapy is given..
