Hi I had iregular periods past six months sometimes it is regular. In oct 21 I had period .For six days no bleeding .After that there is continuous flow for ten days. Doctor gave regesterone daily 3 tablets for 15 Days.Pl say is it safe to use it I am 41 yrs old.
hello thank you for asking the question. you are taking the drug regesterone for irregular periods. it is hormone norethindrone. it is used in treatment of irregular periods. there are many side effects of drug regesterone like change in menstrual cycle including spotting, missed period or breakthrough bleeding, acne, nausea, stomach pain, dizziness, weakness,etc. consult a doctor if you get any severe side effect listed above or any other which is not listed. otherwise for your problem start the drug and drug always weighted against side effect versus cure. hope this will helpful to you.
