Is Restasis Advisable For An Extreme Dry Eye Post A Surgery?

hi, i had prk eye surgery about a month ago and have been suffering from extreme dry eye since. my dr has put in punctal plugs and started me on restasis. my concern is that restasios is an immuno suppressent and im concerned about any risk it may cause, i dont want to have to be on this for the rest of my life and she said only 6 months-a year as my symptoms should resolve. your thoughts?

rest sis is cyclosporineeye emulation. i think it is not requered. post operative cataract can be given refresh eye tear drop and ofloxacin .o3% eye drop for few days. take opinion of ophthalmologist for followup advise.
