Hi my son s age is 10 years complete 11th started (dob)-1st December 2005. He has put on weight in last 3 years and after blood test we came know that his SGOT ( AST) is 38. He also has reddish slight purple stretch marks on both sides of wait... What is it?
SGOT of 38 is in the upper normal levels and is generally no source of concern. Other liver tests are important to have a better understanding though. SGPT, Bilirubin, ALP, etc, may be needed to better evaluate him.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
