Hi, my husbend is a 45 years old.He had a routine check up in 11th June.his blood test showed SG.PT level was 88U/L.But Total Bilirubin,Direct bilirubin etc are normal range in blood. Is this something that I should be concern about? what will be the diet?
Here your husband's liver enzymes are high .. First USG or HIDA scan done for rule out fatty liver or gall stone or cholangitis like condition....
If any positive cardiac history or muscular problems present then also it can be high.... Second also rule out viral hepatitis by doing viral marker study by ELISA....or it will detect HBSag carrier case....
As far as diet concerned take low fat diet with more fruits.... Avoid alcohol if habit.... Refined food and trans fat diet like junk foods avoided... Use less oil in cooking....
Grined carrot and spinach juice good for liver.
Take care.
