Hi
Thanks for posting on HCM
The normal range for SGPT is 7 to 56 units per liter of serum. His value is too high to take lightly.High SGPT may mean liver
injury but too high may mean a
liver damage or possible liver damage if nothing is done.I will suggest you obey the Doctor's decision as it may be the best for your son.In a hospital setting, the cause of such may be investigated more easily. In the meantime, the following may help take the value down:
-Making Diet Modifications like Get more vitamin D, Eat a nutrient-rich plant-based diet, Avoid foods high in fat, Avoid foods high in salt or sodium
-Making Lifestyle Modifications like Stop drinking alcoholic beverages, Get daily exercise, Avoiding
smoking, Prevent exposure to other harmful chemicals.
-Getting Medical Treatment like Get a blood sample taken for testing, Stop taking over-the-counter drugs, your Doctor may Consider prescribing
corticosteroids and other drugs if need be, taking herbal supplements.
Hope this will help
Best regards
