Hello,

It (Ormeloxifene) is a non-hormonal, non-steroidal drug which is primarily an oral contraceptive (which is taken once per week) but it is effective for dysfunctional uterine bleeding (DUB) and advanced breast cancer. So,this is not a drug to stop periods but a drug to stop irregular bleeding between periods, called DUB. Abnormal uterine bleeding (AUB or DUB) is irregular uterine bleeding that occurs in the absence of recognizable pelvic pathology, general medical disease, or pregnancy. It reflects a disruption in the normal cyclic pattern of ovulatory hormonal stimulation to the endometrial lining. It is to be taken as instructed by doctor so contact your doctor.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Thank you.

Regards,
