I have a rash under my breast. I was using silver sulfadiazine cream on top of the breast after a scalding incident. It has healed. I also was given lidocaine 2% jelly for the burn also after using the silver sulfadiazine cream. I am wondering if either of these can be used for a slight rash.
Welcome to HCM l hope you are well. -You can use Lidocaine 2% jelly to reduce discomfort caused caused by skin irritations such as mild skin rash,sunburn, insect bites, and minor cuts,or burns.On the other hand, there is no need to use Silver Sulfadiazine cream unless if there is sign of infection.Silver Sulfadiazine cream used to treat or prevent wound infections in patients with burns or open wound.
