Is Simponi Effective In The Treatment Of Unbearable Pain Due To Rheumatoid Arthritis?

Have chronic pancreatitis and am diabetic with extremely painful RA. Have taken remicade , enbrel, humira and methotrexate to which came to a conclusion of stopping due to too many infections. Now on plaquenil and prednisone but the pain is becoming unbearable. They want me to start SIMPONI aria without methotrexate. What do you think?
