Is Siphene Advisable Instead Of Duphaston For Delay In Conception?

Hi Doctor,I am 24yrs, married for 1 year 5 months... I have been trying to conceive since my marriage... Stayed with my partner for 5 months.Got my follicular study scan and it showed I ovulated on 14th day of my cycle. My cycles are regular (28-32 days)My doctor suggested me to take duphaston starting from 15th day for 5 days.Another doctor suggested me siphene 50mg starting from 3rd day for 5 days.Which one is better? I am skeptical about taking tablets since I acne issues also.Please give me some advice.And also tell me when is the best time to try for conceiving. Alternative days are good or daily? Thank You

I have gone through your Query & I really appreciate your concern about the problem you are facing.

As a physician I would like to tell you that you should take your Siphene tablets 100mg once daily with or without food at the same time each day, for 5 days, starting on the fifth day of the menstrual cycle. This will improve chances of Ovulation around 10th to 15th day of your menstrual cycle. If you plan your efforts around this time interval, there are high chances that you will be successfully pregnant.
