Is Strattera A Safe Medicine For Treatment Of ADHD In Children?

Your concern is very right, these medicines do have many side effects. However, we only recommend drug if the benefit is more than any risk. Same is the case here, Strattera has side effects, but is many times well tolerated by patients. So if he needs it, there is no harm in giving a trial of it, because the benefits may much more then any side effects if the drug is used judiciously.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Mahboob Ur Rahman, General & Family Physician
