Is TB Contagious?
thank you, i'm 65. my sister, 74, has recently been diagnosed with tb, but a strain, she says, that is not contageous. our mother was also diagnose with tb, but reported that it was not contageous. she died at 87 in 2005, reportedly of pneumonia. am i safe being around my sister? i'm in excellent health, but had mild asthma as a kid.

So your sister should use hanker chief during coughing. Maintainance of hygeine & frequent washing of hands is recommended.
