General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Taxim-O (Cefixime) is commonly prescribed to treat a variety of infections caused by susceptible bacteria.

Its most common side effects include nausea, abdominal discomfort, indigestion and diarrhea which subside over a period of time.

It is considered to be safe during infancy hence it may be given as prescribed by the doctor.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Mohammed Taher Ali, General & Family Physician
