Is Tirosint Free Medicine Advisable To Treat Hypothyroidism?

I am looking for a medication for hypothyroidism that has few inactive ingredients - like Tirosint, which only has gelatin and water. My insurance does not cover Tirosint, so I m trying to find another drug that doesn t have all of the additives like color dyes, confectioner s sugar, talc, etc.kr

Hi welcome to HCM...

According to history you are having hypothyroidism...

For more comment I need an TSH value and t4 value ....(thyroid profile report )

If t4 low and TSH high than hypothyroid confirmed and for that you have to take hormone from outside in form of drug.

For that levothyroxine drug needed ...
Dose decided and adjusted according to TSH level ....
The dose start from 25 ug to up to 150 ug....

Take care

So instead for searching other drug just consult physician with your thyroid report ...

Hope my suggestions will be helpful to you
