Is Toradol Safe And Effective In The Treatment Of Sciatica?
I m currently on hydrocodone 5-325. I can take up to four a day for pain but very scared to do that much. I suffer from L1 disc degeneration. L5 and S1 Buldging disc. But its not worthy of surgery. I suffer severe sciatic pain and have had to have two toradol shots in the past 3 weeks from my pain management. I seen toradol is in pill form. Is toradol more dangerous then hydrocodone? The toradol injection helps take the sharpness of the pain away.
Hello, Thank you for trusting HealthcareMagic for your health concern
Toradol can be taken together with hydrocodone. Dosage is 10 mg orally up to 4 times daily. Toradol contains ketorolac which helps reduce pain and inflammation. The important side effects include gastric upset, bleeding risk, kidney dysfunction and allergic reaction. So ketorolac is contraindicated in certain medic conditions and if you are on certain mefications. Therefore you should always consult with your primary provider before starting ketorolac.
