Is Tramadol Effective In The Treatment Of Pain In The Gums?

I am having sever dental discomfort... like I got something caught between my tooth and gums. The pain is excrutiating and I feel some swelling aroung the back two teeth. I have been using ORAJEL that I went a purchased today and 800 mg ibuprofin that I take regularly for back pain (prescribed).

Will 50 mg tranadol help ease my oral discomfort until I can get to my dentist tomorrow?

As per your complain if you have discomfort in between the gums of two teeth or can be either due to deep infection in the gums in that area leading to deep pocket formation while can also be due to decay in any of the teeth leading to gum inflammation..

Due to infection the attachment of the gums to the tooth is lost as the infection progresses deep and causes pocket formation that further carries bacteria and of debris and causes pain and inflammation..

Consult a Dentist and get evaluated and get an X-ray done..

In case of gum infection Scaling and curettage will help..
In case of tooth infection filling or Root Canal treatment depending on depth of decay will Be planned..

As of now you can very much take Tramadol for pain relief..
Continue applying Oragel .
