Is Tramadol Safe And Effective In The Treatment Of Arthritis?
I have arthritis and have been taking tramadol twice a day for the pain. I recently went to a pain doctor who said he was going to treat the pain with Vit. B and Toradol (I mNot sure this is spelled right. I want some info on the Toradol before I decide to try this treatment. Can you give me any info on this? YYYY@YYYY.
Greetings Welcome to Healthcaremagic. Tramadol and Toradol are two similarly sounding medication that are prescribed for pain and patients some time do make mistakes in mentioning the exact medicine they are receiving because they both have uses for different pains.
Toradol is an NSAID group of drug .It is one of the most strongest pain killer but it is NOT advised for arthritis because it is advised for not more then 5 days . So in arthritis toradol should not be taken.
Tramol on the other hand is also a strong pain killer but is safe in patients with arthritis pain and can be taken for longer periods of times.
i hope the answer was helpfull. In case you have any further questions feel free to contact us in writing.
Regards Dr Talal
