Is Travel Is Safe At The Age Of 68years And Who Is Diabetic And Arthritic
My mother aged 68years and who is diabetic and arthritic.... Is it safe to travel??? My mother aged 68 years is diabetic and arthritic and is on medication and she is going outofstation to a tour by train and busroute. She also has allergic problems. Is it safe for her to travel and what precaution she has to take during the journey???
Hi.. It all depends on how physically fit your mom is.. If she is right now physically fine then she can go on with the tour. You can get a blood test and see if her sugars are under control before the taking the trip.. While on tour ask her to protect her feet and avoid injuries..It would be better if she has a pair of soft foot wear.. Let her carry small amount of sugar always with her to avoid sudden hypoglycemic episodes... it would be better if she travels with some one who knows about her condition well.. In case of any minor problems immediately take medical help...
Allergy is the main problem I guess. But my mother though she has allergy she does not have a problem travelling. She always keeps those avil tablets to combat allergy.
