Is Trigestrel Effective In The Treatment Of Uterine Fibroids?
Hi I ve just seen my gynae yesterday I have fibroids submucosal and intramural. Gynae says it s to small to be removed. I had a pap done and my uterus is retroverted. Gynae put me on folic acid and iron pills. And also prescibed trigestrel for one month to boost fertility as I m hoping for baby number 3. I m 30 years old. Is trigestrel a good decission

Trigestrel contains hormones. This drug is not used for fibroid however your doctor is right as small fibroids if not making problems should be left untouched.
However important thing is that Trigesterl is not good if you want to have another child as Trigestrel would inhibit pregnancy. We can use this drug to avoid pregnancy. You can talk to your doctor in this regards.
