Hi I hav got acne breakout so used proactive mask and it dried up but getting acne scars and at the moment I am using trimelasin will it help my acne scar to go away?i hav fair complexion so acne scars r bothering me and hav whiteheads problem too is there any cure to clean whiteheads as well or hav to extract them?
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have acne problem which occur when there is hormonal changes, stress and clogged pores of sebaceous gland filled with sebum and bacteria get infected.
Trimelasin cream otherwise is good as it contains hydroquinone and acetamide, however in long term can cause side effects such as of thinning of skin on affected area of face and prominence with rashes. I would suggest you to
- Drink plenty of water daily and add fresh fruits and vegetables to your diet.
If condition doesn't start getting better in a month then consult dermatologist. Doctor may prescribe antibiotics course and can also go for chemical peel containing Glycolic acid.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
Get Well Soon.
Best Wishes, Dr. Harry Maheshwari
