Is Vasograine Or Cafergot Effective For Migriane?

Hi I use vasograin when I feel a migraine coming which is usually about once a week or after eating something that may trigger it. I was told by a friend that vasograine is not so good for you and to try cafergot which also treats headaches & migraines. Can you offer some advice

Hello.Ergotamine derivatives drugs are currently scarcely used for the treatment of migraine.The gold standard drugs for migraine treatment are called "triptans" (sumatriptan, almotriptan...), also anti-inflammatory drugs as Naproxen or Diclofenac are effective for migraine.
