Hi I am suffering from back headache & falling like symptoms, now I am on consultation of a Neuro Psychiatric Doctor since 1month who has given me Citlop for first for 10 days now since last 20 days my doctor has given me Veniz XR 37.5 still asking me to continue this but I am still not get rid of my problems of falling like symptoms even if I am not feeling the back headache now. Please help me in knowing whether I am on the right medicine or not.
The medicines (Citlop and Veniz) given to you by your treating doctor are to treat depression, anxiety and panic disorder. The medicines are prescribed on the basis of your past & present history & the clinical conditions assessed. If you are better and you do not have back headache or falling type symptoms then you are suggested to report to the treating doctor. Sudden stoppage of medicines can cause withdrawal symptoms, the medicines should be gradually tapered and then stopped. Do not stop the medicines without informing your treating doctor. You may require some other substitutes.
Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Nupur K, General & Family Physician
