Is Verapamil Advisable For Migraine?

I am on Eliquis 5 mg along with metoprolol 50 mg tab and amiodarone hcl 200 mg tab for afib and they have afib levelized now with these 3 drugs. I used verapamil 240 mg tabs for 15 years for migraines with no problems before afib. After afib dr. took me off verapamil and put me on the 3 drugs eliquis, metoprolol and amiodarone. Now the migraines have returned with a vengeance. The dr. says not to use verapamil stay with these 3. Is it possible to use verapamil with less mg to stop the migraines?
