Is Vertigon Tablet The Right Medication For Recurring Dizziness?
Hello Doctor, My age is 23 And my job profile is similar to a BPO i.e on calls. I am suffering from dizziness every morning. i visited My family doctor 1st he gave me a tablet STEMETIL D. and the 2nd time i went to another doctor he gave me VERTIGON tablet for 4days. i was better for 2 months now again I am facing the same dizziness. Vertigon is basically suggested for what can u tell me exactly?
Hi, i do care for your concern. your history suggest more of meniere's disease. In this you will experience episodic dizziness, vertigo, headache. It will relieve after sometime. This occurs due to excessive secretion of endolymph (fluid like substance) within the cochlea (internal hearing organ) vertigon is an anti histaminic drug that decreases the sensitiveness of internal ear, although it has other mechanism too. i would advise to Consult a ENT specialist, and get full work up done, and to get treated accordingly. there are other drugs that will produce effective remission of symptoms. Hope I have answered your question. If you have any further questions I will be happy to help.
