Is Vicks Vapo Rub Safe To Be Used On Shingles Rashes?
I have the shingles: prescribed nine days ago vaccliclvyr (?) Ointment and pills for a week, 3 baths a day, plus applications of apple cider vinaigrette; the sores broke off two days ago, Can I safely apply Vicks Vapo Rub On The Healing Rash and Will it Help the Sensitive Itching/Slight Burning?

Hi.
As per your case history of shingles, my treatment advice is -
1. Don't squeeze the lesions as it may worsen the condition.
2. Don't apply Vicks as it may cause irritant dermatitis.
3. Apply a mild antibiotic cream like fusiderm cream twice daily on it.
4. Other treatment options are oral antibiotics, oral acyclovir taken only after consulting a dermatologist.
