General & Family Physician 's  Response
yes it is used in treatment of RA.the shoulder pain is also because of RA.The pain will be there as the disease progresses with time,.if she has been diagnosed with RA recently,it takes time for the medicines to show effect.the medicines are supposed to slow down the destruction caused by immune system.it takes time to get relief for different patients but along with the treatment keeping the patient motivated to do exercise a little bit can help.Mainly the stiffness that makes the patient feel difficult for any movement.do not miss any medicines that your doctor has prescribed.Go for the routine visits and also the routine blood tests that are to be done should be there with you when you visit your doctor time to time.
