Is Xanax The Right Medicine For Anxiety Disorder?
I am taking Xanax for anxiety attacks but it seems to have lost it s effectiveness. I was once on Klonopin for anxiety, it worked better to reduce anxiety at a baseline level but didn t help much with panic attacks. It also made me irritable. Can these 2 meds be combined? I m taking Xanax 1mg 4 x day. I was on Klonopin .5mg twice a day. I was thinking of going back on the klonopin and seeing if I could take a reduced dose of Xanax as needed for anxiety attacks

Both clonazepam and lorazepam have additive effects with respect to sedation and should be monitored initially. Consult your doctor to prescribe you both as its use is permissible in certain cases if there are no other drug interactions.
