Zarah is a combination of 2 hormones: an estrogen in the form of
ethinyl estradiol and a progestin in the form of
drospirenone. It is used to prevent pregnancy.
It works mainly by preventing the release of an egg during your menstrual cycle. It also makes vaginal fluid thicker to help prevent sperm from fertilization of egg and changes the lining of the uterus to prevent attachment of a fertilized egg.
Before using this product, tell must tell your doctor or pharmacist if you have adrenal gland problems, stroke,
blood clots, untreated/uncontrolled
high blood pressure and abnormal breast examination.
In case you have adrenal problem you are mentioning, this birth control pill is not recommended to be used.
Kindly consult your doctor so that proper
contraceptive can be instituted which would suit you upon evaluation.
