Is Zeptol Effective In Preventing Epileptic Attacks?

i had an attack in 2001 and i was put on to zeptol...everything went fine for 5 years and i left my medicine....but in 2007 i had 2 more attacks back to back and i was put on to encorate 1300mg per day...after 6 months i had another attack and my medicine was increased to 1500mg per day....everything went ok for 2 years and in 2010 while sleeping again i had an attack...even d doctor was confused and told me to take fresium for 2 weeks and was put on to encronate again with same quantity...last week again i had 2 attacks back to back and i went to another doctor who told me to go back to zeptol which i took for 5 years without an attack as the salt in encorate might not be suiting me...is that the right decision as i am very scared that another attack might occur within weeks or months and again i have to suffer the pain,,,plz help
