My daughter started itching her head about 5 days ago. She was checked for lice and she does not have it. It is red in the back of the head (from itching so much) but no flakes or anything. I noticed now that she is itching more towards the top of head making me believe it's spreading (whatever it may be). I gave her Zytec 3 days ago and used Benadryl cream to help the itching. It lasts a few hrs then she is itching again. I used TGel for psoriasis, seborrheic dermatitis etc. Should I continue with this or take her to her pediatrician? We live in Fla so we swim a lot but she has never had anything like this before.
