Is A 4th Generation HIV Test Done Post 1 Month Of Exposure Conclusive?

I had unprotected sex with a girl from an online dating website so I freaked out and got the 4th generation rapid finger stick test every week for the first month and then at 1 month and 1 week I went back and got the RNA PCR test and it came back negative as well. Am I in the clear or should I still be worried? At two months I finally got her tested as well for a rapid fourth generation finger stick test and it came back negative. Is there any way I could be infected??

HIV screening is done by ELISA test and confirmation is done by Western blot test. HIV test reacitivity depends upon development of antibodies against HIV. Sometime it develops early, but sometimes it takes time to develop. Post exposure testing is done initially and at six weeks, three months, and six months. After six months, if it still comes non – reactive then you will be declared HIV negative. As she is also HIV negative so no need to worry. Modern HIV test is very accurate. A single screening test is correct more than 99% of the time. But be careful in future. Use protection during sex.
Thanks
