Is A Black Scar Below The Cauterized Mole On Face A Concern?
I have a big mole on my face that was cauterize do 3 weeks ago. It is not covered . The doctor told me to allow it to fall off. It is really falling off but held in place by several hairs growing in it. Ivan see underneath There is a black or brown scar. Is it normal. When will this be clear?
If there is a blackness under the cauterized black mole 3 weeks ago, it is difficult to say so soon whether there is partial removal or is this the healing area. Most probably there looks to be partial removal and you may need another session of causterization if you Dermatologist feels so after examination. If you can see that the falling part is held back by hair, you can cut these so that the true appearance can be seen and known to show the reality so that any further management can be done as needed.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
