Is A Bleeding Knob Of Skin At The Perineum Suggestive Of Hemorrhoids?

Hi. I have what I thought was a hemmeroid due to some constipation and was like a knob of skin between my anus and vulva. It is now more like a tab of skin and if you push it over to one side it looks open and red. It doesn t hurt but just uncomfortable and does bleed if I have to wipe alot. I try to blot and not wipe but sometimes it still bleeds for a few seconds. It has been here for almost 2 months and thought it would be starting to go away by now. I clean the area daily but very gently. Suggestions on what this could be?

i have Read Your Concern and will try to provide information you need on it

As You mention you had constipation it is very likely that you might have a anal skin tag , or external Hemorrhoid
skin tag however does not bleed a lot but if their location is such that they get rubbed easily they may bleed

for many people skin tag are harmless and doesn't hurt and require no treatment unless you want them to remove for aesthetic purpose
but in your case it is problematic a lot ...

so in my opinion you should have a check up with Ano rectal surgeon to get it examine properly to rule out whether it is a skin tag or external hemorrhoid or any other ano rectal disorder

you should not worry as these can be treated with simple medication and life style changes , few cases may require a simple surgical procedure which is also very successful

so Don't be Hesitate and go for an check up
