Is A Bump On The Left Side Of Collarbone An Indication Of Infection?

I ve have a visually identifiable bump on the left side just above my collar bone it is not painful when I push on it. This is new within the past few months. To my knowledge, I m not fighting an infection that I know of. Any ideas what this could be?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

Most probably it will be a swollen lymph node only.

If it persists for long, you can opt for a fine needle biopsy.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
