Is A Colonoscopy Required To Diagnose Reasons Behind Regular Diarrhea And Flatulence?

I am having an issue of loose motions from 4 months now. This is primarily due to indigestion and lots of gas formation. Sometimes i also have burping and burning sensation in my throat region. after lots of medications, doctor told me the disease could be Irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) and advised me to do colonoscopy and upper and lower endoscopy. Do u also suggest me to take up these tests? Do u think i have a liver issue?

To confirm the diagnosis of IBS several examinations should be done. I would recommend:

-A blood test
-A stool test
-Colonoscopy
-Barium Enema.
