Is A Doctor Consultation Advisable For Tachycardia Symptoms?
I have had several instances of tachycardia over the last few weeks, and sometimes miss beats. I went to the ER about 4 months ago with chest pains, and they did a stress test and didn t find anything wrong. I have worn a heart monitor in the past and nothing was found then either. How long should I wait before going to the dr/ER if there is no change? Pulse has been 104-110 for the last hour.
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
Of course you it is a matter of concern. If it doesn't get better in next hour go to. If it gets better you should visit a cardiologist, and also do thyroid hormones levels, T3, T4, TSH.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
