Is A Granuloma On Right Clavicle As Shown In CT Scan A Cause For Concern?

Hi... I had a ct scan of my chest and have a granuloma of my right clavicle. the nurse said, nothing to worry about I need to make an appointment with my doctor. He s a pain specialist ( I have stenosis in my neck) I ve had shots, blocks and know him well. The CT scan was done last week. I have pain from this and only noticed it about 2-3 months ago. What do doctors do for this growth and what causes this? I don t remember injuring myself badly there. Two years ago, I did have breast enhancement with some complications the the right Breast.

Hi,

You'd need to see it. Healing of bone often produces a small lump of scar tissue. This generally looks nothing like cancer. BUT it can impinge on nerves to cause pain.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
