Is A Hemangioma Same As An Echogenic Lesion In The Liver?
Hi, I had a CT scan that showed I have a small hemangioma on the right lobe of my liver (I belieive they are benign blood vessel tumors). Next I had an Ultra Sound that said there is a 2.2 cm echogenic lesion. Are they the same? Should I get a follow-up?

You can rely on the CT scan report. It will mostly be hemangioma. Ultrasonography is not as sensitive as CT scan.
For small hemangioma clinical observation is to done. You can Consult general surgeon for a physical examination.
