General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

He can do a hip replacement in a period of remission from CLL. The period of remission us when the blood count is in the normal range and has finished the chemotherapy.

His platelets, red blood cells and lymphocytes should be in normal range before doing the surgery.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
