Is A Home Tester Or A Doctor's Test Of Blood Pressure More Accurate?
My doc took my blood pressure at his office and got a reading of around 128/66. Then he tested my blood pressure tester and got a 158/80. Then he went back to his tester and got 158/80, the same as he got on my reader. Every 6 months with our visit , using their office reader they got normal readings around 120/66. But when I used my Walgreens tester, I usually get in the 150/80. His readings say that I have normal BP, whereas my home tester Says I have stage 1 on hypertension. Who's right of which determines whether I need BP metrication or not, Thank you

Is A Home Tester Or A Doctor's Test Of Blood Pressure More Accurate?
Dear sir Mercury blood pressure apparatus is more acurate when compared to digital monitors. It is always adviced to cross check the measurements. Digital apparatus will show little high systolic pressure when compared to actual measurements. Thanks
