Is A Huge Black Hematoma Under The Eye Post Undereye Lift Surgery A Cause For Concern?

i had under eye lift surgery 10 days ago by a qualified board cert surgeon who strictly does this surgery. i am very comfortable with the doctor. my concern is the huge black hematoma that is under one eye in particular ( it was the other eye originally that was the worse then it changed to this one). the doctor doesnt seem to be that concerned but it surprised at my long term recovery and the amount of bruising and swelling i had. it am concerned as no matter want i do it goes down a bit after icing but them will be back up. the bruising in my face is subsiding as did the swelling however this seems crazy the huge bulbinsh thing under my eye. he says to just take it easy and it too shall pass basically. i was planning on going back to work after a few days with ssun glasses but at this point dont see a light at the end of the tunnel. I really appreciate your concern, such appearance is very common in facial surgery and if this is near eye then formation of blue color or dark blue color is very likely and this may be happens due to loose skin and this is nothing to worry because this comes to normal later or sooner, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
