General & Family Physician 's  Response
hello dear ,
i understand ur concern,
usally bladder cancer presents with haematuria ( blood in urine ) especially at the end of micturation.
ct scan and urine cytology confirm the diagnosis
but ur father presented with spread of cancer to near by lymph nodes that result in swelling of leg.

so they 1st stage the disease .
and they will treat according to stage and they may put him on chemotherapy due to spreading to nodes.
all the best for speed recovery of ur father.
thank you.
