Is A Liver Transplant Necessary When Diagnosed With Liver Cirrhosis?

Gud morning My brother is suffering from liver cirrhosis. Dr s are saying for liver transplant. And the disease of piles and fissure is as it is as was two mnths back.no dr is treating for piles nd fissure.don know liver transplant is the only option. Dr s are not giving time also

I have understand your concern
cirrhosis is the end stage liver disease
many causes for that like hepatitis virus , alcohol , biliary cirrhosis , autoimmune diseases etc..
initially it can be managed medically , small surgical procedures like TIPS to reduce portal hypertension , finally liver transplantation is the permanent treatment. your doctor is not giving you much time may be he is severely decompensated and what he was advised is correct ...piles and fissure are minor compared to present cirrhosis situation and there is more chance of bleeding if they operate now for piles.
