Is A Lump On The Shoulder Normal After A Cortisone Injection?

I was recently diagnosed with frozen shoulder and subsequently had a cortisone injection for pain. Since the injection, I have had a lump form on the top of my shoulder bone that is very tender and very noticeable - could this be a cyst formed by the injection and will it go away on its own?

Hi
Thanks for posting on HCM
It could just be a local tissue reaction to the shot.Just observe. If it become too painful or too swollen, it may be an injection site infection that will need to be seen by the Doctor.Just observe.
Hope this will help
Best regards
