Is A Mass Identified In The Subcutaneous Soft Tissues Of The Upper Arm Volar Aspect At The Level Of Distal Humerus Dangerous?
In an MRI report what would this mean: Mass identified in the subcutaneous soft tissues of the upper arm volar aspect at the level of distal humerus. Imaging characteristics are nonspecific, question faint enhancement following administration of contrast. Consider soft tissue diagnosis as clinically indicated . Patient is 96 yrs old and mass is the size of half a baseball. She has had it at least a month, and it seems to me (her daughter) that is may be getting smaller

Hi, The report shows there is a soft tissue lesion which could be a muscular, fatty, fibrous or nerve lesion. FNAC is advisable in such swelling. Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further. Regards, Dr. Peeyush Kumar Saini, Pathologist and Microbiologist
